CCIM Institute history

Year	Events
1954	The CCIM designation was established originally by the California Association of REALTORS under the name Certified Property Exchanger (CPE).
1967	The CCIM designation took on national significance under administration by a division of the National Association of REALTORS.
1969	The CCIM designation was renamed Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). And a council was established to administer the designation.
1991	The CCIM designation was granted institute status as an affiliate of NAR.
2006	The CCIM China Chapter was established.
